When I got this recipe from the Femina magazine I didn’t realize how delicious a chicken preparation this would be! The chicken is coated with a ground masala chutney and then baked in an oven which helps retain the juiciness of the chicken. It is very simple to prepare yet has a unique and delicious taste.

For garnish


    Step 1

    Heat 2 Tbsps ghee in a vessel and fry the onions till brown

    Step 2

    Add the ginger garlic paste

    Step 3

    Add all the ingredients except the chicken, curd and the garnish

    Step 4

    Stir for a while

    Step 5

    Remove from heat and when cool grind to a paste with the curd

    Step 6

    Prick the chicken with a fork and apply the ground masala to the chicken

    Step 7

    Place the chicken on a greased baking dish and bake at 375F or 190C for 30 mins or till chicken is cooked (chicken should be juicy and not dry)

    Step 8

    Garnish with chopped coriander and mint
